Grace Emma Abbey is a passionate teacher, US Army Reserve Chaplain, and ministry leader dedicated to helping others discover truth, healing, and hope in Christ. She provides spiritual care, counseling, and guidance to soldiers and students. As a ministry leader her life and writing reflect a deep passion for truth, healing, and spiritual formation.

With a Master of Divinity from The King’s University and over fifteen years of ministry experience, Grace has led prayer movements, counseled leaders, and served in local and national ministry settings. She is the founder and director of Mansfield House of Prayer, now called The House of Prayer—DFW, a ministry dedicated to intercession, experiencing Jesus intimately, discipleship, and community transformation.

Grace’s story begins with her parents, who first introduced her to the love and presence of God. Growing up surrounded by a faith-filled family in Ghana, she learned early the power of prayer, perseverance, and community. Those formative years continue to shape her heart for people, her compassion in ministry, and her belief that true hope is found only in Christ.

Beyond her professional and ministry work, Grace finds her greatest joy in being a mother to her daughter, Kamillah, whose creativity and faith continue to inspire her. Her formation as a leader and writer has been deeply shaped by a safe community of friends—a circle of faith-filled companions who have prayed with her, stood with her through seasons of growth, healing, calling, and encouraged her to live authentically in God’s truth.

Grace lives by 1 Corinthians 13:4–8 and is known for reminding herself and others with bold joy: “The devil is a LIAR!”

In Dear Truthseeker, Grace writes with conviction and compassion, from a place of authenticity and grace, inviting readers to wrestle honestly with life’s questions to find freedom, peace, and purpose in the unchanging truth of Jesus Christ. Most of all, to invite readers to encounter the Truth.
